Research and dissemination: the Muna Kalati Review

Bringing together researchers from all disciplines, MK aims to publicise and stimulate work on African children’s literature and publishing, but also on children’s imagery, games and toys, and the material and oral culture of childhood, from a historical, literary, aesthetic or sociological perspective. Each issue includes a thematic dossier on the life of books and reading in Africa. Our journal aims to be a crossroads of disciplines, an echo chamber of ongoing studies, a place for sharing and mutual discovery around the world of reading and the African children’s book.
